The head of the department is the Director of I.A.S cadre , assisted at the Directorate Level by one Addl./ Joint Director (Admin) of H.A.S. cadre, two Joint Director, two Deputy Directors and one Deputy Controller (Finance & Accounts) besides other supporting staff.

 

The Department has 12 District Offices across the State, each headed by a District Controller, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs. The District Controller is supported by a Food & Supplies Officer, Inspectors, and other ministerial and supporting staff for effective public service delivery at the district level.

In addition to the District Offices, one District Controller is also stationed at the Directorate level to assist in coordination and administrative functions at the State Headquarters.
